If you’ve ever watched a great athlete take over a game, you’ve probably heard someone use the expression, “He’s in the zone.” You may have even had experiences of being “in the zone” yourself – whether it was on a basketball court or somewhere else.
But what exactly does it mean to be in the zone? Even when you’ve experienced it, it can be hard to describe what exactly this state of mind is like or how it’s different from the normal state of mind you walk around in for most of your day. And no matter how often you find yourself in the zone, you probably couldn’t explain how to get into it, and you probably couldn’t access it immediately if asked to. For most of us, getting in the zone is just something that seems to happen randomly – but it doesn’t have to be that way. Today, we’re going to discuss what the zone is and how you can get better at accessing it.
